I've spent more than 15 years as a product designer. Early in my career I also worked as a front-end developer for a couple of years, not because I wanted to switch, but because I wanted to see my designs actually come to life. That experience gave me something I still rely on: a clear sense of what's possible to build, and why the gap between design and implementation matters.

For the last five years at LinkedIn I've worked on Profile and Messaging. Two surfaces with the same underlying challenge: people have everything they need to build their professional identity and connect with others, but most of them don't. Understanding why that gap exists, and closing it, is the work I find most meaningful.

The most important person I'm doing that for is my daughter. Training and swimming for focus and discipline and my love for plants keep me grounded enough to do everything else well. 🌸 🪴.
